The Plateau
Horton Plains is unlike any other terrain in Sri Lanka. Rolling grasslands stretch wide while patches of cloud forest rise like green islands. The air is crisp, the ground often damp with dew, and the silence broken by the occasional call of a highland bird.

World’s End
The most dramatic point of the hike is World’s End, a sheer cliff that drops almost a thousand meters to the plains below. On clear mornings, the view extends to the distant coast. When the mist rolls in, the edge becomes otherworldly, veiled in white silence.

Baker’s Falls
Hidden among the forested trails, Baker’s Falls cascades into a pool surrounded by ferns and moss. The cool spray and thundering sound offer a pause during the trek, a place to rest before the trail winds back across the grasslands.
